SBCCI - Southern Building Code Conference International
SBCCI is a not-for-profit organization whose primary mission is to develop
and maintain a set of model building codes. SBCCI is also an active participant
in the International Code Council in which, along with other major model code
associations, it publishes the International Codes® and provides editions
of its original codes, the Standard Codes™. These documents are intended
to be adopted by reference as local and state laws governing construction.
SBCCI’s family of codes includes the International Building Code®,
International Residential Code®,International Fire Code®,
International Plumbing Code®, International Private Sewage Disposal
Code®, International Fuel Gas Code®, International
Zoning Code®, International Energy Conservation Code®,
International Property Maintenance Code®, International Mechanical
Code®, and the ICC Electrical Code®.
IHS Provides Engineering Standards in the Following Formats
- Internet - The IHS Specs & Standards subscription service
provides unlimited, immediate access to complete collections of industry, international/national standards and military specifications.
- Intranet or Extranet - Documents reside on corporate internal networks (depending on individual licensing agreements) for quick
desktop access, retrieval and sharing.
- CD-ROM or DVD - For locations with strict security or where online communications is an issue.
- Individual Standards - Individual standards documents may be ordered from the IHS Standards Store in hardcopy format. IHS subscription customers may purchase individual Portable
Document Format (PDF) documents.
