IETF - Internet Engineering Task Force
IHS offers IETF documents that are referenced in Joint Technical Architecture
(JTA) documents — in fact, IHS offers a complete collection of all JTA
Referenced Standards. The JTA was established by the U.S. Department of Defense
to specify a minimal set of information technology standards, including Web
standards, to achieve military interoperability.
The IETF is an open international community of network designers, operators,
vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution of Internet architecture
and the smooth operation of the Internet. It is open to any interested individual.
